The largest mammal to live at high elevations, Mountain Goats (Oreamnos americanus) are truly the kings and queens of the mountain.
 
These “goats” (they are more closely related to cattle or antelopes than they are to goats) use rocky, near inhospitable alpine terrain as their refuge from predators.
 
Just like Mountain Goats, I find refuge in the mountains. Step away from the cacophony of everyday life in the mountains. Visit the kingdom of mountain goats for a time. Trust me. It’s worth the hike.
